More Than Clean — Protected
A hand wash gets the dirt off. A wash and wax takes it further — removing what you can’t see, then sealing your paint with protection that lasts. This is the service for vehicles that are already well-maintained but need that next level of care.
After the full two-bucket hand wash, we run a clay bar across every panel to pull out bonded contaminants — industrial fallout, brake dust, road film, and tiny metal particles that embed in your clear coat over time. You can feel the difference with your hand: before clay, the paint feels gritty; after, it’s glass-smooth.
Then we apply a premium wax or sealant that creates a protective barrier against UV rays, road salt, and water spots. Your paint gets that deep, warm glow that makes people ask if you just bought the car. Interior gets a quick tidy too — vacuum, wipe-down, and floor mats freshened up.

Wash & Wax FAQ
A hand wash cleans the surface. A wash and wax goes deeper — we decontaminate with a clay bar (pulling out embedded particles you can’t see), then seal the paint with a premium wax or sealant. You get a noticeably smoother finish, deeper shine, and weeks of protection against UV, road salt, and water spots. Plus, the interior gets a quick tidy.
Typically 3 to 6 weeks depending on weather, how the car is stored, and how often it’s driven. If it’s garaged and washed properly, you’ll get the full 6 weeks. If it sits outside in Long Island’s salt air and rain, closer to 3–4 weeks. Either way, it’s significant protection that a hand wash alone doesn’t provide. If you want longer-lasting protection, ask us about ceramic coating.
Once a month is the sweet spot for most people. That keeps a fresh layer of protection on your paint at all times. Some clients do it seasonally — once before summer and once before winter — and get hand washes in between. There’s no wrong answer, but if you only do one service beyond a basic wash, this is the one that gives you the most bang for your buck.

Exterior Detail
If your paint has swirl marks, oxidation, or just lost its luster, an exterior detail takes it further with machine compounding and glazing. We restore the paint before sealing it — not just covering it up.
